Fontes began his profession as an intern at Nexstar/WFLA News Channel 8 & WTTA Great 38, in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida Area. There he appeared in the Daytime Syndicated TV Show/Bloom TV Show from May 2019 to August 2019. He served as a shadowed anchor/reporter in video editing, script writing, and social media management, as the teleprompter operator, and the TV camera operator. From September 2020 to December 2021, he worked at the same station as a BLOOM Multimedia Journalist/Contributor. He produced feature packages for the show, researched, wrote, and provided input on stories and topics for air. From January 2022 to the present, Fontes has worked with Big 2 News at KMID in Odessa Texas. He joined the station as a mid-day anchor and evening reporter and currently serves as the morning anchor on ABC/Fox with the Big 2 News Team.
