Matt Lorch is an American former Emmy Award-winning news anchor/reporter who is best known for his time at Q13 Fox News. He works at MattLorch.com as an event auctioneer, MC, and Online & TV host since July 2016.

Matt Lorch Career

Lorch serves MattLorch as an event auctioneer, MC, and Online & TV host. He has hosted quite a number of charity fundraising events for several organizations. Some of them include the Special Olympics Washington, The Museum of Flight, Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, and Boyer Children’s Clinic. He also hosted EvergreenHealth Foundation, Mary’s Place, Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation, and The Friendship Circle Washington among others. Moreover, he also emceed the 2015 Special Olympics Washington Summer Games which had more than five-thousand people in attendance.

Before he started his career as an event auctioneer, MC, and Online & TV host, he previously worked for Q13 Fox News where he served as an anchor as well as a reporter from September 2011 to September 2021. Prior to his time at Q13 Fox News, he worked all over the country including anchoring for WHDH in Boston: before that, he spent time as an anchor and reporter at WPLG in Miami, WBAL in Baltimore, KIVI in Boise, and KHQA in Quincy, Illinois.

He takes pride in covering his community and the people who make it so special; That’s why he created a franchise called Changemakers, highlighting the remarkable people who live and dedicate endless hours to making their community a better place. As a Seahawks fan, it’s also incredibly rewarding to share stories about one’s favorite Seahawks players off the field. As a proud University of Washington alum, his Saturdays are spent cheering on the Huskie. Sundays are dedicated to the Seahawks. He still waits for the day his beloved Sonics returns to town. When he is free, he loves to host events for nonprofits, making their community even stronger. He is passionate about skiing and spending time with his wife and two young children.
