Matt Markovich is an American Reporter/Correspondent/Editor working with Q13 FOX News in Seattle, Washington serving the station as a Political Reporter since January 2022. Prior to FOX 13 News, he was working with KOMO-TV 4 Seattle in Seattle, Washington.
Matt Markovich Education
Markovich attended UC Santa Barbara where he was studying between 1977 and 1979. Later on, he went on to join San Diego State University where he studied between 1981 and 1983. There, he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunication and Film/Journalism. While there, he was honored with an “Outstanding Student of the Major” in 1983.

Prior to this, he was also working with Moneytrack in San Francisco where he was serving the station as a Correspondent between June 2003 and August 2006. There, he was serving the station as a Producer/Editor/Reporter for a national weekly program airing on PBS aimed at novice investors.
He has also worked with Markovich Media Group LLC where he serves the station as a Principal Owner. He served the station in Seattle, Washington between November 1994 and August 2006. Markovich has also worked with TechTV in Seattle, Washington. There, he served the station as a Bureau Chief/Reporter/Editor between January 2001 and April 2003.
Asides from this, he has worked with KIRO-TV where he was serving the station as a Senior Producer between 1991 and 1994. There, his roles included producing, developing, and launching two news magazine programs aired in prime access. He kick-started his journalism career working with KMET-FM where he was serving the station as a News Producer/Surf Reporter between August 1979 and August 1981. He also worked as a Wax Man with Mr. Zog’s Sex Wax between July 1977 and June 1979.
