Matt Renoux is an American reporter working at 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado. He reported in the Mountain Newsroom which is located in Silverthorne.

Renoux has been a Colorado native, fifth-generation, growing up in Pueblo where most of his family still lives. He attended college at Colorado State University. Renoux reported 6 years where he became what was then called a one-man band as a reporter who shoots his own video and edit. He is one of the few known journalists in the country who also runs a satellite truck shooting his own live shots. Therefore that term is called a backpack journalist which only means he continues to work alone.

Then he is supported beyond measure by the many talented journalists at the main office in Denver. The couple enjoyed world travel, attending the theater, and could even be seen acting in community plays at the Lake Dillon Theater in Dillon on the side. Moreover, their world is surrounded by Elmo and Mickey Mouse with the occasional “big trip” to Sea World or Disneyland.
