Melanie Alnwick is a well-known American Emmy award-winning Journalist currently working for FOX 5 DC as a reporter/anchor/Podcast Host. She joined the station in 1999. She serves as the morning co-anchor of the 4:25-6 am and Good Day DC at 9 am. Prior to working at FOX 5 DC, she worked at various other TV stations. She won a National Emmy for her series of investigative reports on Spring Valley. She has a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award because of her 2019 Podcast, “Into the Woods”.
