Merry Matthews is an American Emmy Award-Winning meteorologist currently working as the chief meteorologist at KRDO NewsChannel 13.

Matthews who is a Georgia native attended and graduated from the University of Georgia. She comes to KRDO after forecasting for the national outlet WeatherNation, which is based in Denver. She has experience forecasting hurricanes in the southern US and severe weather systems. Matthews was part of the meteorology team that covered the April 27, 2011, violent tornado outbreak in the Southeast.
