Michael Fuller Biography
Michael Fuller is an American journalist working for WGAL as a co-anchor of News 8 at 4 p.m. Additionally, he reports for the 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts. Previously, he worked for NBC Connecticut as a general assignment reporter.
Michael Fuller Education
Fuller joined Hofstra University in 2012 after finishing his high school education. In 2016, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. He then furthered his studies there and received his Master’s degree in Journalism in 2017.
During his time in college, Fuller worked as the host of the student-run radio morning show on WRHU-88.7 FM. Also, he co-anchored Hofstra Today and hosted F.Y.I. Long Island, as well as four of Hofstra’s long-standing fall festivals, which garnered thousands of Hofstra students, family, and alumni every year. In the fall of 2016, he broadcast the Presidential debate and the Democratic National Convention.
Fuller worked as an intern at NBC’s Today Show, 6 ABC WPVI-TV, and NBC 4 New York, Investigative Unit. He also interned as an entertainer at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, becoming a seasonal cast member for five years.

Fuller worked in Columbia, South Carolina, before moving to Connecticut. There, he served the WLTX-TV CBS affiliate news team as a multimedia journalist in January 2018. He has been active in his church community since he was very young. That is where he found his passion for broadcast journalism. Also, he serves as a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the Society of Professional Journalists.
