Rainey is currently a star in Starz network’s hit drama series “Book II: Ghost” (an expanded Power franchise) and portrays Tariq St. Patrick (main character). He started his acting career when he was 10 years old. He was 1st featured in “Un Altro Mundo,” where his role he mastered a new culture and language and resided abroad for one year. After that, he then began appearing in various films and shows like Barbershop, Power, Orange is the New Black, 211, and Amateur.
He and Gianni Paolo (Power co-star) launched their new venture known as “Twenty-Two Entertainment” in March 2022, and the very 1st project there was “The Crew Has It,” the self-hosted podcast. There, they are responsible for providing development services and artist management. They produce TV series and movies, as well as other projects. This venture was funded by Artists For Artists.
Rainey’s 1st American movie debut was LUV (2012). After that, he starred in THE BUTLER (2013) with Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey.
