Michelle Dapper Biography

Michelle Dapper is an American Anchor/Reporter working for KCRA 3 News/My58 Television serving the station as a Sports Anchor/Reporter since September 2014. Prior to KCRA 3 News, she was working for KHQ-TV in Spokane, Washington where she served the station as a Sports Reporter/Anchor between August 2010 and September 2014.

Dapper works with KCRA 3 News where she serves the station as a Sports Anchor/Reporter. She states that she is excited and honored to be back in the Golden State and join the KCRA 3 Sports team. Prior to her position in Spokane, Michelle was the Sports Director at KEZI-TV in Eugene, Oregon, and KRBC-TV, in Abilene, Texas. She is a proud native of Southern California and was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dapper joins the station from KHQ/SWX in Spokane, Washington where she was working as a sports anchor and reporter for almost 5 years.

She is a proud graduate of San Francisco State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude graduating with a double major in Radio & Television Broadcast and Journalism. In her college years, she not only anchored and reported for The College Sports Report and State Events. Asides from this, she has also interned at KTVU-TV in the sports department.

Dapper also stayed busy working for ESPN-Kwokman Productions where she was working as a production assistant. She has also worked for Berkeley Community Media where she was co-hosting and field reporting for 28 Minutes. Being an athlete all her life, she loves softball, martial arts, soccer, and basketball. Asides from this, she also enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.

Michelle is a graduate Summa Cum Laude at San Francisco State University and earned a double major in Radio & Television Broadcast and Journalism. She was both a reporter for The College Sports Report and State of Events but also she interned at KTVU-TV in the sports department, while she was in college.
