Esteban joined Penn State University where she attained her bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is working for KOMO4 as the co-anchor / Reporter. She and her husband loved everything about Seattle and decided to move there. A year later, she was hired by KOMO News and has been working for the network for decades.
Esteban had also worked with other networks prior to joining KOMO in 2000. For instance, she has a history of working in Phoenix, Pittsburgh, and Steubenville, Ohio, and did not grow up in Pittsburgh. She is nonetheless an admitted hacker and loves being on the golf course so much.

Additionally, the clinic’s founder said and acknowledged that Michell’s report helped a lot in the opening of the clinic. Esteban won another award known as the prestigious Regional Edward R. Murrow Award in 2008.
She won the award for her reporting that showed that cell phones turned off could actually spy on you – her report showed how software could be used against people to listen in on your phone conversations and for that matter any conversations in the vicinity of your phone. Esteban won another Regional Emmy for being the best reporter in 2008 and 2010.
