Additionally, the clinic’s founder said and acknowledged that Michell’s report helped a lot in the opening of the clinic.
Esteban won another award known as the prestigious Regional Edward R. Murrow Award in 2008. She won the award for her reporting that showed that cell phones turned off could actually spy on you – her report showed how software could be used against people to listen in on your phone conversations and for that matter any conversations in the vicinity of your phone.
Esteban won another Regional Emmy for being the best reporter in 2008 and 2010.
