Michelle Linn is an American journalist working for KOKI FOX 23 as a morning news anchor since joining the station in January 2011. Previously, she worked for KMIZ in Columbia, Missouri, as a morning news anchor for 14 years.
Michelle Linn Education
Linn joined Lindenwood University in 1993 after finishing her high school education. She studied Broadcast Communications there and was an afternoon drive news anchor for KCLC 89.1FM until 1994, when she transferred to William Woods University. In 1996, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Broadcast Communications. While in college, she was involved with the student alumni council, student government, and Alpha Chi Omega.

Additionally, she has visited the hospital in Memphis multiple times to see and share life-saving work St. Jude does, without ever sending families a bill. The partnership has helped collect over $14M for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This serves as the most fulfilling assignment of her career, cherishing the relationships she’s developed with local St. Jude families.
Linn launched her journalism career in 1997 at KMIZ in Columbia, Missouri, where she anchored he morning news for 14 years before moving to Tulsa. Besides journalism, she enjoys being active in the community, where she visits classrooms and emcees events. While growing up, she used to watch Joan Lunden on Good Morning America. She realized her dream of being a morning news anchor when she was only 8 years old.
