Mick Shaffer Biography

Mick Shaffer is an American journalist working for KSHB as the sports director since joining the station in June 2017. Previously, he worked as a sports anchor/reporter and play-by-play commentator at Metro Sports for 16 years.

Shaffer joined Southwestern College in 1995 after finishing her high school education. He studied there until 1997, when he transferred to the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. In 1999, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Broadcast News.
