Mike Allen is an American Anchor/Reporter working for NewsChannel 21 as Sunrise co-anchor and reporter. He has been working for the station since October 2016.

Allen is a Sunrise co-anchor and reporter. Born and raised in Southern California, Allen attended and graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and also minored in Geography.

Allen reported, produced, and anchored for Citrus TV while at SU, the student-run television station, and served as a sports anchor for the Spanish language program. He also co-anchored a weekly sports talk show on WERW, the Syracuse campus radio station.

Mike is a fan of all sports and when he is not at work you can find him downtown watching football in his Philip Rivers jersey. He has never been to the state of Oregon before since his arrival there he has been greeted with open arms by the city of Bend. Allen likes being active and it looks like he came to the right place.
