Mike Grogan Biography
Mike Grogan is an American meteorologist working for KOKI FOX 23 as a certified meteorologist on the FOX23 Severe Weather Team since joining the station in April 2011. Before Tulsa, he broadcast the Mid-Atlantic states’ weather from Hagerstown, Maryland.
Mike Grogan Education
Grogan joined Valparaiso University in Indiana after finishing his high school studies. In 2008, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology.

Grogan works for KOKI FOX 23 as a certified meteorologist on the FOX23 Severe Weather Team. During his career at FOX 23, he has forecasted it all in Tulsa, including tornado outbreaks and winter storms. Before Tulsa, he broadcast the Mid-Atlantic states’ weather from Hagerstown, Maryland.
Since receiving his degree in 2008, Grogan has worked as a member of the American Meteorological Society. He currently serves the organization as an officer in the Route 66 AMS chapter. He has the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society
Besides covering severe weather from the studio, Grogan is an avid storm chaser, relishing every moment he gets to see the extremes of Mother Nature. In this capacity, he has pursued storms in more than 15 states across the country.
Active in the community, Grogan sits on the Advisory Board for the mayor-appointed Stormwater Drainage & Hazard Mitigation for Tulsa. Additionally, he serves as a chair for the Disaster Resilience Cross-Cultural Council. He is also active in other charitable organizations throughout the community.
