Mike Hill Biography

Mike Hill is an American television personality, talk show host, and actor currently with Fox Soul and Fox Sports. He started hosting The Mike and Donny Show on Fox Soul in October 2019.

Mike Hill Career

Hill started his career as a sports director at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland, in early 1995. Later that year, he got his first anchoring job with KSEE-TV in Fresno, California. From 1997 – 2000, he spent time with WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee, reporting on high school football and earning two Emmy Awards.

Between the years 2000 and 2002, Hill spent time as a host at Fox Sports Net in New York City. From 2002 – 2004, he served as a sports anchor at KXAS-TV in Dallas, Texas before joining ESPN. From 2004 – 2013, he was with ESPN.

On ESPN Radio he hosted Hill and Schlereth with Mark Schlereth and also hosted a variety of the network’s shows including ESPN First Take, SportsCenter, Highlight Express, NFL Live, Baseball Tonight, and various remote projects including Cam Newton’s 2011 Pro Day at Auburn.

He joined Fox Sports 1 (FS1) in August 2013 where he has guest-hosted Fox Football Daily and Fox Sports Live. Additionally, Hill contributes to the network’s coverage of college basketball. On April 7, 2014, he started hosting America’s Pregame.

Hill hosted the show until its cancellation in September 2015. On June 22, 2018, Hill started hosting BIG3 games on FS1 for their second season; the BIG3 contract would be handed over to CBS Sports following that season.
