Mike Hoey is an American Anchor/Producer/Reporter working with Local 22/44 News where he serves the station as a Weekend Anchor/Producer. Asides from this, he also reports to the station three nights a week.

Hoey works with Local 22/44 News where he serves the station as an Anchor/Producer/Reporter. He joins the Burlington area team from WUTR and WFXV in Utica, New York. There, he was serving the station as the main male news anchor between early 2015 and late 2017.

Previously he has also spent about a decade working with WBUP located in Marquette, Michigan. He won nine Michigan Association of Broadcasters Excellence Awards for his reporting while working there. These include Best Investigative Story, Best News Series, and Best Feature Story.

Asides from that, he was also working as an anchor/producer. This is in addition to supervising the newsroom as the station’s news director from 2007 to the year 2010. The Western Massachusetts native is a proud graduate of Boston University. Away from work, he enjoys trivia games and curling up with a good book.
