Warren started his broadcasting career while he was in college and worked for the college radio. After college, he worked in financial sales in San Francisco for multiple years before resuming his broadcasting career. He got back into broadcasting with a reporting position at KRNV in Reno.
After working in Reno, Warren worked reported at KMST in Monterey. He secured his first anchoring job at KTUL in Tulsa. He continued his anchoring role in Phoenix where he served KTVK as a reporter and anchor.
