Theatre being her initial love, Ndiweni started working for the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2013 following her graduation from Royal Welsh. During her time there, she had notable roles such as Tiger Lily in Wendy & Peter Pan, Cordelia in King Lear, and Ophelia in Hamlet.
In 2015, she left the Royal Shakespeare Company and made regular appearances in the TV show, Mr Selfridge. However, she returned to the company several times as a guest. She toured North America along with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2018.
During the tour, she recurred her roles as Cordelia in King Lear in New York, and Ophelia in Hamlet in Washington DC. In 2017, she played her initial role in n Danai Gurira’s The Convert at the Gate Theatre in London as Jekesai/Ester. She attained critical acclaim with four and five-star reviews from some of the most respected critics in London.
Film and TV
Ndiweni initially appeared in big films playing the role of the Slipper Lady in Disney’s Cinderella in 2015. Next, she starred as Eshe in The Legend of Tarzan. In 2016, she played the role of Tilly Brockless in Mr Selfridge for eight episodes.
During the 10th series of Doctor Who, she starred as Abby in the episode, “Oxygen.” In October 2018, Netflix made the announcement that she would play the role of Fringilla Vigo in The Witcher. She starred as Lady Berenice Sidebottom in Catherine Called Birdy in 2022.
