She started her journalism career at WIU-TV in Macomb, Illinois where she worked as a weather anchor from September 2017 to May 2019. During her time there, she was able to find her place there and decided to continue working as a weather anchor. Her passion for weather came at an early age after witnessing her hometown being covered by snowstorms.
Aside from working as a journalist, Molly worked as a head lifeguard at the City of Galesburg in Galesburg, Illinois. She worked the the company for more than seven years from May 2012 to August 2019.
