Morgan Loew Biography

Morgan Loew is an American journalist working for Arizona’s Family as an investigative reporter. Further, he has served Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication as a faculty associate since 2010, where he teaches media law and TV news reporting.

Loew attended the University of Arizona journalism school and Concord Law School(now known as Concord Law School at Purdue University Global) after completing his high school education. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Juris Doctor (JD) respectively.

Aside from reporting for Arizona’s Family TV stations, he works as a consultant for the CBS Newsmagazine and 48 Hours. Further, he works as a reporter for the True Crime Arizona podcasts The Phantom Killer, Lori Vallow’s Deadly Delusions, and The Zombie Hunter. His reports have earned features on MSNBC, CBS News, NBC News, CNN, and NPR.

During his career, Loew has received multiple awards for his work including 11 Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards, an SPJ First Amendment Award, four regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, and praise from the Humane Society of the United States. He serves as an inductee of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Silver Circle, the award recognizes journalists who have contributed to the TV industry for 25 years.
