Her spark for the weather was sparked when she encountered wild 757 weather. He rejoined the state of Virginia where his broadcast meteorology started when he worked for the Charlottesville Newsplex (WCAV/WVAW/WAHU).
During his time there, he served as part of the weather team that received the Virginia Association of Broadcasters meritorious award for best weathercast. When not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors where he hikes, camps, canoes, snowboards, and does any outdoor activity.
