Nephew Tommy (full name – Thomas Miles) is an American Comedian, Host, Actor, and Producer who is best known as a co-host of The Steve Harvey Morning Show “making prank phone calls”. He is also known for hosting the 7th season of “Ready to Love.” 

Tommy has also appeared in several TV Shows and Films such as Sister-Sister, the Apollo, The Parkers, and B.E.T. He has been with Steve Harvey (actor, TV host, comedian, and producer) at WBLS radio station in New York City for a year and a couple of weeks.

His prank phone calls, as well as a cast of colorful actors, have been instrumental in The Steve Harvey Morning Show since he joined. Tommy has worked as the exclusive opening act for Luther Vandross. He has also served as a host of the prestigious Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. Tommy is part of the USO and has his own nonprofit foundation known as Miles of Giving. There he helps wounded veterans. Tommy’s 1st 60-minute special was in the year 2010 at Detroit’s Motor City Casino.

The show ended in its 5th season and this saddened the show’s fans, and some rumors began spreading that the show was canceled. However, the show wasn’t canceled, it was just that the creator of the show, Stephen “Steve” Harvey, went to pursue new endeavors. The last season aired 13 episodes.

In May 2022, Tommy revealed on his social media pages that he was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer. He stated that it began as a lump on his neck, which was discovered by his personal trainer while they were working out. He visited his main care physician and was referred to 2 specialists differently. Tommy received a phone call on May 18, 2022, from the doctors informing him he had cancer. Tommy underwent successful surgery on August 24, 2022, and he recovered after some time. He eventually recovered and he is now well and in good health.
