Wilkins works at WJHG where she serves as an anchor. While at the station she has won many awards including Troy University Broadcast Journalism Alumnae of the year. Other awards include Bay County First Lady of the year as well as one of the top ten most influential women in Bay County. Additionally, the other award is the number one media personality in Bay County. Neysa has also been awarded the Citizenship Award by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and the key to the city of Panama City Beach.
Moreover, Wilkins is a member of Beta Sigma Phi and the Woman’s Club of Panama City. She is also a board member of the Children’s Home Society and President of Women’s Connection. Additionally, she has recorded 4 CDs which are available at The Christian Bread Basket in Lynn Haven. Furthermore, Wilkins graduated with a dual degree in Broadcast Music Performance and Journalism from Troy University.
In addition to that, she performed with Opryland USA in Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, Neysa jumped with the Golden Knights parachute demonstration team and has even flown an F-16 with the “Thunderbirds”. One of her greatest thrills was carrying the Olympic torch for the 2002 Winter Games in Utah.
