While there, Nikki had the opportunity to do live forecasts from the X Games, the Junior College World Series, and one of Colorado’s largest country music festivals. Previously, Nikki worked behind the scenes, as a writer, at WSVN in Miami.
Furthermore, she graduated with a dual degree in Atmospheric Science and Broadcast Journalism from Florida International University. In between studying, Nikki was involved with the Atmospheric Honor Society and was a part of the FIU cheerleading team. During her leisure time, Sheaks loves spending time at the beach. Moreover, she enjoys reading, running, and playing with her cats.
