Nonso Anozie is a British actor who is famous for starring in TV series and films such as Game of Thrones as Xaro Xhoan Daxos and Sweet Tooth as Tommy Jepperd. He is also notable for appearing in films such as Ender’s Game, Cinderella, Zoo, and RocknRolla.

Upon graduating from high school, Nonso joined St Aloysius College, Highgate where he received a degree. After that, he enrolled at the Central School of Speech and Drama and finished in 2002. While there, he was involved in various dramas such as King Lear and Othello. For his performance in Othello, he was honored with the Ian Charleson Award in 2004.

His breakthrough came in 2011 when he was cast in the HBO series Game of Thrones playing as Xaro Xhoan Daxos. Afterward, Anozie was cast as Jackson Burke in The Grey. Besides this, he was also featured in another TV miniseries The Bible where he played Samson.

From 2013 to 2014, Nonso appeared on the NBC series Dracula as well as starred as Sergeant Dap in Ender’s Game film. His popularity increased after the release of the drama Zoo, which was written by Michael Ledwidge and James Patterson. Aside from acting, Anozie also worked with the BBC Radio 4 Classic Serial production where he played Joe in Edna Ferber’s Show Boat.
