Paige Gilmar is a Canadian-American journalist working for WVVA as an evening anchor and producer since joining the station in August 2025. Previously, she worked as a weekend anchor for KX News, North Dakota’s news leader.

Gilmar joined American University in 2015 after finishing her high school education. She studied Comparative Literature there until 2016, when she transferred to McGill University. In 2020, she graduated with a double major Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English Literature (British and Commonwealth).
Gilmar studied Japanese Language and Literature at UCLA in 2016 and Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at the University of California, Berkeley in 2015. She joined New York University in September 2021, graduating with a Master’s degree in American Journalism in May 2025.
