Paige Hubbard Biography

Paige Hubbard is an American Reporter working at CBS Austin KEYE. She previously worked as a reporter and Multimedia Journalist at KFDM/FOX 4 news.

Her interest in journalism began in eighth grade when she was chosen to do the morning announcements. She attended Lamar High School and Texas Southern University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

In college, she was the managing editor of her school’s newspaper and launched “news in flash,” a digital show that is still produced to this day. Paige interned at FOX 26 News and KPRC Channel 2 in Houston, where she was given the opportunity to go on the air as an intern.

Hubbard is a reporter at CBS Austin. She began her career after she was offered a unique opportunity to work at NTV Houston after graduating from college in 2018. She made history there when she became the first Black woman to work for a Southeast Asian digital station. During her time at NTV, she gained experience as a reporter, covering some of Houston’s most important stories.

Paige went on to work behind the scenes at KHOU 11 news on the assignments desk. She decided to leave Houston and bring her talents to KFDM/FOX 4 news in Beaumont because she missed being out in the field reporting and connecting with the community. Paige is passionate about journalism and community-based storytelling.

She describes herself as a “news junkie” and takes pride in being a multi-skilled journalist who works both behind and in front of the camera. Some of her most memorable interviews have included Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, US Senator Amy Klobuchar, and Stephen Merchant, the creator of the hit sitcom “The Office.”
