Patrick Hussion Biography

Patrick Hussion is an American anchor working for OAN since re-joining the station in June 2017 after becoming one of the first news anchors for OAN in April 2013. He is a native of Atlanta, also is excited to be back in the San Diego area with his fiancé Nevin and back in the evening anchor chair.

Patrick Hussion Career

Hussion is a graduate of Piedmont College in north GA, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and pitched for the baseball team. Prior to returning to OAN, he was a political reporter and Saturday evening anchor at the NBC affiliate WYFF News 4 in Greenville, SC.

During the last election cycle, he focused on bringing viewers the latest from the presidential campaign trail and political headlines out of South Carolina. As President Donald Trump prepared to win the South Carolina Primary, Hussion was able to sit down for an exclusive, extended interview with the candidate.

Hussion started his career in the news here at OAN, where he hit the ground running and quickly worked his way into a lead anchor position. He was able to use his skills and news sense to become a leader in the newsroom and to gain valuable production experience while working very closely with the tight-knit news team.

His next stop was Washington DC when the network made him their White House Correspondent. There, Hussion was able to report on the Obama administration. He is as well a history buff with a special focus on the American Civil War.
