Cullors attended Reseda’s Cleveland High School. She participated in the Labor Community Strategy Center’s year-long organizing program. While practicing activism, she learned about revolutionaries, critical theory, and social movements from around the world. She later graduated from UCLA with a degree in religion and philosophy.
