Paul Burton Biography
Paul Burton is an American reporter working for WBZ-TV serving as a general assignment reporter. He joined the station in January 2006, after working at WLNE-TV in Providence as a general assignment reporter.

Burton graduated from Framingham North High School and then enrolled at Northwestern University in 1992 where he attained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 1997. He also attended Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary where he graduated in 2007 with both a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Ministry.

Burton serves as a general assignment reporter at WBZ-TV in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been with the station for over eighteen years since joining in January 2006. After joining the station, Paul worked together with the News Development Program before later securing a role as a reporter. He started his career as a general assignment reporter at WLNE-TV, the ABC6 affiliate in Providence. Burton served the station for three years from 2003 to January 2006.
Aside from working as a journalist, Paul was a successful athlete who participated in different athlete programs. In 1994, he was among the contestants who took part in two Big Ten Championships and ALL Big Ten punter at Northwestern. Burton was also a member of the NFL Team where he played under the Seattle Seahawks. In addition to this, he also played in the 1997 Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, and the 1996 Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
Besides working as a reporter, Paul also worked for the Ron Burton Training Village where he serves as a director of a company founded by his father. He also works at Tremont Temple Baptist Church as an associate pastor. On top of this, he also works with various charitable organizations where he works with children under the age of 18 to 11.
