Paul Horton Biography

Paul Horton is an American Emmy award-winning meteorologist working at CBS 5. He has been working for the network since August 2007.

Horton serves as the weather forecaster on Good Evening Arizona at 4 p.m., alongside Nicole Crites and Yetta Gibson. In addition to this role, he is also the host of a weekly segment that highlights people doing great things in the community. Furthermore, he also does a weekly segment that highlights local businesses by the name of Show The Love. Prior to this role, the previously served as the host and morning meteorologist of the CBS 5 morning show for about nine years.

Horton went to the communication/broadcasting program at George Fox University where he attained his meteorology degree from Mississippi State University. He has also managed to win several awards including  9 Emmy Awards and the Governor’s Award for his work on his annual car wash. Whenever he is not working, he enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He also enjoys hiking, exploring the state of Arizona, and hosting events.
