Preston Phillips is an American Emmy Award-Winning journalist working for KOMO News as a producer, anchor, and LIVE directs breaking news coverage. He joined KOMO in 2018.

Phillips attained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Chapman University, where he majored in broadcast journalism. He nonetheless attended Mississippi State for several years and has been passionate about the weather ever since he was young. He is also an FAA licensed drone pilot.

Additionally, he worked for KSEE, in Fresno, California where he served as a reporter and anchor before joining KGTV in San Diego.

Phillips started his career at KIEM, in Eureka, California, where he served as the weeknights anchor at 6:00 and 11:00.
