Brock works for KAAL ABC 6 News as the chief meteorologist. The Minnesota native has been fascinated with the weather since he was a boy watching lines of thunderstorms roll in Litchfield or getting thrilled for the next snow day.
Brock’s meteorology career began in the Panhandle of Texas at KFDA in Amarillo 25 years ago. There, he has the chance to track many supercell thunderstorms and see over a dozen tornadoes. In 2002, he returned to Southeast Minnesota and served KTTC as Chief Meteorologist until 2016.
After KTTC, Brock joined Post-Bulletin Co., LLC in Rochester as a freelance meteorologist. During his career, Brock has had the chance to broadcast southeast Minnesota’s most significant weather events including the 2009 floods, the May 2013, snowstorms, and somewhat in between.
Away from broadcasting, Brock worked for Property Brokers of MN as a residential real estate adviser specializing in customer service with direct client contact, communication, marketing, and coaching. Since October 2020, he has worked as a real estate agent at Wightman-Brock Real Estate Advisors.
