Rasheeda is an American businesswoman, rapper, and television personality who has starred as part of the main cast of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta since 2012. She moved to Atlanta when she was 14 and began her music career as a member of Da Kaperz, a female hip-hop trio.

She debuted her solo career in 2000, releasing her album, Dirty South, through D-Lo & Motown Records on March 27, 2001. Dirty South gained some notoriety due to the prosperity of her first single, Do It. Pastor Troy, Thugz Nation, Nelly, and Re-Re made guest appearances on the album. The album helped establish her presence in the southern hip-hop scene.
In 2002, she released her second album, A Ghetto Dream, under her label D-Lo after leaving Motown Records. 2 years later, Petey Pablo featured her on his single Vibrate. Nivea featured her in her single, You Like It Like That.
She marketed her fourth album, Dat Type of Gurl, on June 19, 2007. The success of the album’s Got That Good (My Bubble Gum) helped the album gain more success than her first album. She recurred some of her early works from GA Peach and updated numerous of her old tracks with remixes and samples. In 2007, she appeared on Mims’ “Like This. During this time, she created Peach Candy, a hip hop/R&B duo with Kandi Burruss.
Her debut mixtape, Certified, was released in the summer of 2009 through the partnership of D-Lo Entertainment and Block Starz Music. She released her fifth album, Certified Hot Chick, on August 18, 2009. Later, she began marketing her Boss Bitch Music series mixtapes.
2012 to present;
She released her sixth album Boss Chick Music through Google Play and el D-Lo Entertainment. Moreover, she endorsed the album on Bad Girls Club: Atlanta SN 10 and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. She began appearing on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta with her husband in 2012. She starred as Scrumptious in the third episode of FOX’s Rosewood.
In 2012, she filmed a music video for Hit It From The Back during the second season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. In 2015, she released a new song on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta SN 4 titled I Meant It. At the time, she said that the album for the song could be her final release.
She owns the make-up line, Poiz Cosmetics, and Imbossy.com, an accessory website. Further, she owns the store in Phipp’s Plaza in Atlanta called Pressed Boutique, which was opened in June 2015. A second store was opened in Houston opened in March 2018.
