After graduating from high school, Rob attended Ohio State University in 2005 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication in 2009. While in college, he spends half a year working as an intern at WSYX-TV, the ABC 6 affiliate. He was also in charge of writing news stories, gathering data, and shooting videos. From there, Rob worked for WBNS-TV as an intern from 2007 to 2008.

Earlier, he served as a reporter at WCMH-TV, the NBC4 affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. For his excellent work, he was recognized by the Associated Press award for his investigative reports. Sneed spends three years and five months working for the station from March 2017 to July 2020.

Prior to working at WCMH-TV, Sneed spent one year and eight months working as a general assignment reporter at KMOV-TV from July 2015 to February 2017. Before that, he served as a freelance reporter at WOIO-TV in Cleveland, Ohio from November 2014 to July 2015. Previously, Rob worked for WDTN-TV in Dayton, Ohio where he served as a general assignment reporter. He also provided live coverage at 5 pm, 5:30 pm, and 6 pm newscasts.
