Moreover, he served as a substitute studio host for ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.

He hosted the live afternoon edition of SportsCenter from noon to 3 p.m. with Chris McKendry until early September 2009 when he was replaced by John Buccigross. Moreover, he was a substitute host for Baseball Tonight. On February 4, 2016, he announced that he would be leaving ESPN after ten years. A noted fan of professional wrestling, he is a proud owner of a prized Louisville Slugger Ric Flair model bat autographed by Flair himself.
