Prior to Tampa, he served WATN in Memphis, Tennessee as a morning anchor. Further, he has spent time in Nashville, Dayton, and Jackson, Mississippi newsrooms. Dunigan has received various Associated Press awards and Emmy nominations for his work. Also, he has worked with news teams that have won some Emmys for general news excellence. Moreover, he has earned features in some publications like the Communicator and Nashville’s SixFifteen Magazine.
Aside from journalism, he has a passion for serving the youth in the community. In this function, he has involved himself with many community service programs with school districts and volunteered as a “Big” with Big Brothers Big Sisters. For his devotion to the community, he has received honors from Iota Phi Lambda Business & Professional Sorority where they spotlighted him among its “Outstanding Business Leaders.”Moreover, he works as an NABJ Leadership Academy Mentee and a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
