Roselyn Sanchez is a Puerto Rican dancer, producer, writer, singer-songwriter, and actress. She is well-known for her roles as Elena Delgado in Without a Trace (2005–09). She is also among the cast of Fantasy Island with the role of Elena Roarke.

Sanchez went to a local primary school in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While still in school, she built on her dancing and acting talents and she often put on shows for her family and friends. After her high school studies, she joined the University of Puerto Rico and studied marketing. Three years later, she left the course and relocated to New York City in 1991 where she took classes in acting, dancing, and singing.

She has also hosted quite a number of shows including Qué Vacilón. Sanchez gained fame as a dancer, singer, and actress after she came to the United States in 1991 at the age of 18. In 1993, she was awarded the Miss Puerto Rico Petite contest. She was later on awarded the international title of Miss American Petite, bringing her international fame in 1994. In addition to that, she has also been tagged in several annual lists of beautiful women including in 2001, 2002, and 2006 Maxim Magazine’s “Hot 100”.

Sanchez was among the cast members of the hit movie Rush Hour 2 in 2001 where she was cast as Isabella Molina, an undercover United States Secret Service agent. Later on, in 2003, she was among the cast in the movie Chasing Papi, where she played the role of Lorena starring with Sofia Vergara and Jaci Velasquez. She has also acted in other hit movies including Underclassman and Edison. Furthermore, she also starred in Cayo a Puerto Rican film released in 2005.
