Grint developed his passion for acting at a young age. During his time in school, he took an avid interest in theatre. He joined the Top Hat Stage and Screen School after he started performing in school productions. The local theatre group gave him a fish role in Noah’s Ark and a donkey in a nativity play. Grint continued participating in school plays as he moved into secondary school. At sixteen, he left school to focus on his acting career.
