Ryan Hill Education
Hill joined Pasadena City College, Pasadena, after finishing his education at Hackensack High School and Temple City High School. There, he received an Associate of Arts degree in Natural Sciences. He then joined California State University, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography (environmental geography option).
Hill later joined the Ohio State University, where he did some of his earlier meteorological studies. During his time there, he worked with the Scarlet & Gray Forecasting Team and the OSU Meteorology Club. In May 2021, he transferred to Ball State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology & Climatology in May 2024.
During his time at Ball State, he was involved with the Cardinal Weather Service. In May 2022, he went storm chasing alongside his classmates, giving him the opportunity to discover Rapid City and forecast weather in the region with that team as a chase lead.
