Ryan Holets Biography

Ryan Holets is an American Police officer who is best known for adopting the baby of a homeless Heroin addicted woman he found behind a gas station. During his State of the Union President Donald Trump, commended Holets’ act of kindness during his speech about the Opioid epidemic in the U.S. He is one of the speakers at the 2020 Republican National Convention where he will be speaking on the third day.

After graduating from high school. Holets attended and graduated from Central New Mexico Community College with an Associate’s degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology and also General education at the college. After graduating from college and the police academy, Holets started working for Albuquerque Police Department as a Police officer. For more than 6 years, Holets has been a part of the department and is heralded as one of the finest officers.

He later became a media sensation for being a police officer who took a chance along with his wife to adopt the baby of a heroin addict. Since then, Holets has been covered by major news about the adoption as well as a story of a man whose effort of doing his part in solving the Opioid epidemic in the United States is seen as an act of kindness. President Donald Trump has expressed his affection for the officer.

On September 23, 2017, while Holets was out on an assignment he met two homeless people in the back of a gas station about to shoot up Heroin. He quickly noticed that the woman about to shoot up was pregnant at the time. She was eight months pregnant.

The conditions of the woman touched Holets especially when the woman described her love for the child and that she was desperately looking for someone to adopt her. Holets was moved by the love that Crystal Champ demonstrated to him. Holets discussed the possibility of adoption with his wife (Rebecca Holets) and they both agreed to go through with it.

On January 30th, 2018, during the night of the State of the Union address, Holets, his wife (Rebecca Holets), and their adopted Baby Hope, were invited to the event. During President Donald Trump’s speech, he mentioned Officer Holets and spoke of the officer as an example of human kindness.
