Scott Porter Biography

Matthew Scott Porter is an American singer and actor who is famous for appearing in the NBC television drama Friday Night Lights, Hart of Dixie, and Ginny and Georgia. He is also known for voicing in various superhero projects including Injustice 2, Marvel Anime, Harley Quinn, and, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

Porter completed his high school education at Lake Howell High School where he graduated in 1997 and participated in the football team. After high school, he enrolled at the University of Central Florida, where he was a founder member of the 4:2:Five group and cappella vocal group. On top of this, Scott was also a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

Porter started his career working as a babysitter before he joined the acting industry. His breakthrough came when he starred in the NBC television drama Friday Night Lights portraying the role of Jason Street. In 2006, he appeared as Casey Hughes in the soap opera As the World Turns, a role which was formally played by Zach Roerig. After that, Scott played Colin Thompson in the film Music and Lyrics (2007) as well as appeared as Rex in the film Speed Racer in 2008 a film directed by the Wachowskis.

In 2009, he starred in three films Bandslam as Ben Wheatly, The Good Guy, and Prom Night as Bobby. Apart from appearing in film, Scott has also starred in successful TV series like CBS’s legal drama The Good Wife where he portrayed Blake Calamar, an investigator for Lockhart & Gardner, a law firm. While still starring in the drama, Porter also appeared in another television series Nomads. He later on was cast as a member of the medical dramedy series Hart of Dixie where he played as a lawyer alongside Rachel Bilson.

Aside from acting, Scott is also a singer who is known for his songs “Pretend” and “Someone to Fall Back On” which was chosen as a soundtrack in Bandslam. Besides this, he is a fan of comic books and has voiced in various superhero films such as Harley Quinn, Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, Marvel Anime, and Batman: Arkham Knight. In 2013, Porter was cast in the second season of the video game series The Walking Dead where he played as Luke and in the EA Sports game Madden NFL 18’s Longshot mode as Colton Cruise.

The disease is genetic, as through her mother who was diagnosed with the same disease, Kelsey found herself having it. It is through some tests which came out positive revealing she had the same disease. However, through the help of her doctor, she was able to prevent her children from obtaining HD.

In the 2022 video game God of War Ragnarök, Scott plays the role of Heimdall who is a Norse God of Foresight and the Watchman of the Aesir. Heimdall is the son of the Nine Daughters of Ægir and Rán and the Aesir gods Odin. He grew up in Asgard alongside his half-brothers Baldur, Thor, and Tyr. Scott who plays as a George Tucker in the comedy-drama series Hart of Dixie is the son of Clora Tucker and Harold Tucker. Growing up in the small town of Bluebell, Alabama, Tucker worked as a lawyer and once in his life, he decided to move from his town to New York where he worked as a lawyer in corporate law. While there, he lived in the Tribeca area working there for two years before he returned home in Bluebell. Besides this, he was also in a relationship with his childhood sweetheart Lemon Breeland.
