Scott Stovall Biography
Scott Stovall is an American working for KIMA/KEPR as an anchor, producer, and reporter since June 2017. He joined the station in April 2015 as a news director and anchor. Previously, he worked for KLEW as the 5 and 6 p.m. anchor and news director in Lewiston, Idaho.
Scott Stovall Education
Stovall joined the University of Texas at Austin in 1981 when he finished his high school education. In 1982, he transferred to Texas Christian University where he received a Bachelor Of Fine Arts degree in Radio, TV, and Film. In 1986, he joined the Defense Information School (DINFOS) where he completed a Broadcast and Print Journalism and Public Affairs Course.

Stovall has worked for KIMA/KEPR as an anchor, producer, and reporter since June 2017. Upon joining the station, he first worked as a news director and anchor. His broadcasting career started in the United States Navy. While there, he served Navy Broadcasting detachments in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and La Maddalena, Italy.
During his time in Italy, he served aboard the U.S.S. Orion (AS-18), a submarine tender. In La Maddalena, he won Navy public affairs awards for broadcast news and newspaper reporting. After working in the Navy for 5 and a half years, he joined KWES in Midland, Texas where he worked as a morning anchor and reporter from 1992 to 1995.
In 1995, he moved to the Tri-Cities and joined KNDU where he worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer till his departure in March 2011. While in the Tri-Cities, he has delivered news and events in the state. After his time at KNDU, he worked for New York Life Insurance Company in Kennewick, Washington as an agent. Next, he joined Allstate where he worked as an agent and a licensed sales professional. He then worked for Tri-Cities Americans Hockey Club as an account executive before restarting his broadcasting career at KLEW where he worked as the 5 and 6 p.m. anchor and news director.
