Sean Giggy Biography

Sean Giggy is an American regional Emmy award-winning reporter who is working at WFAA in Dallas, Texas. He joined the WFAA team in January 2017. 

Previously, he worked at WAOW in Wausau, Wisconsin, and at The Herald-Press newspaper in Huntington, Indiana. Giggy was born and brought up in Indiana and while growing up, he played basketball. In addition, he began working as a sports editor for my hometown newspaper.

In addition, for the first eight years of his career, he worked in the sports department in Waco, Texas, and Wausau, Wisconsin. Despite the fact that he is a sports guy, he transition to feature reporting in 2017. Furthermore, over the years, he has received a regional Emmy award, Edward R. Murrow award, national Telly awards, and a number of Texas Associated Press awards. During his downtime, he enjoys watching basketball. He also enjoys watching any and every sporting event whenever he can and loves singing and traveling any chance he gets.
