Seth Wells Biography

Seth Wells is an American journalist working as a morning news anchor/reporter for WILX News. He grew up in West Michigan. He attended Rockford High School and graduated in 2013. He then attended Butler University in Indianapolis. He graduated with a degree in Sports Media and Communications.

From 2018 to 2020, he was a weekend sports anchor and reporter for News 10. Seth moored the MAB Grant-winning Games Barrage, working alongside Kellan Mate. He began his professional career as a sports reporter at our sister station WLUC-TV in Marquette, Michigan.

In the wake of putting in a couple of years here at News 10, Seth joined WOOD-television in Fantastic Rapids as a games anchor and columnist prior to choosing to return to WILX.

As Seth transitions from sports to news, News 10 Today will present him with a brand-new and exciting challenge. He is excited to serve Mid-Michigan and share your tales.
