Shannon Ehrhardt is an American journalist working for KCCI 8 News as a sports anchor and reporter since joining the station in June 2022. This marks the start of her career after graduating from the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord College of Journalism & Mass Communication.

Ehrhardt joined the University of Oklahoma’s Gaylord College of Journalism & Mass Communication in August 2018 after finishing her education at Fenwick High School. In May 2022, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Sport Management.

While in college, she gained experience as a field reporter, sports anchor, and analyst. She also shot D1 sports for a daily newscast and three different sports programs. She anchored, reported, and produced for OU Nightly.

Ehrhardt worked as an executive producer at Sooner Sports Pad and was a sports analyst for GameDay U. She also interned at KOTV The News On 6. In addition, she was in the Chi Omega Fraternity.
