Since August 2025, she has served as an adjunct professor at Loyola University Maryland. Previously, she worked as a reporter and producer for Ivanhoe Broadcast News.

On that show, she visited significant Black-owned restaurants in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles to deliver entrepreneurial stories behind the food.
