Stephanie Grady Biography

Stephanie Grady is an Emmy award-winning American journalist working as the weekday anchor of FOX6 News at 4, 6 & 9 p.m. as well as the host of a show called ‘Dose of Reality. The show shares stories about the prescription of drug abuse.

Grady studied and graduated from Penn State’s College of Communications with a degree in a communication course. Although that was not her initial plan, she actually wanted to be a doctor just like her father. She thought her fate to be a doctor was sealed since everyone in her family works in the medical field in some shape or form. But Grady is terrified of needles and journalism has some excitement to it.

While she was still in college she joined the University’s student-run television station the started her own TV show called “The U”  the show is still being produced to date. She later got internships at WCAU-NBC10 in Philadelphia in the investigative unit and Entertainment Tonight/The Insider in New York City.

She started her journalism career serving as a general assignment reporter right out of school in Erie, PA at WSEE/WICU. After a while she was promoted to morning anchor, she held on to this position for about a year then she got another job opportunity at WSAZ NewsChannel 3 in Huntington, WV. Later on, she got a job at News10 ABC and FOX23 (WTEN/WXXA) in Albany, NY serving as a morning anchor.
