Stephanie Valle is an American journalist working for KVIA as a co-anchor at 5, 6, and 10 on weeknights since January 2020. She joined the station as an unpaid newsroom intern in the summer of 2001 and has served the station for more than 2 decades.

Valle joined the University of Texas at El Paso in 2000 when she finished her high school education. In 2004, she graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Political Science and Government.

Valle has worked for KVIA as a co-anchor at 5, 6, and 10 on weeknights since January 2020. She joined the station as an unpaid intern before she was hired as a reporter and later promoted to weekend anchor. Next, she transitioned to morning reporter and noon anchor and producer.
During her career at KVIA, Valle has worn other hats including co-anchoring and being the executive producer of Good Morning El Paso, 4 p.m. anchor, and the news operator manager. She has broadcasted various news in the Borderland including many presidential tours, Pope Francis’ visit, and the execution of Juarez, a convicted murderer.
In 2019, Valle debuted the Borderland Crimes podcast, which features a criminal case that happened in the El Paso-Las Cruces area per episode. She was recognized by the Radio Television Digital News Association with the Regional Edward R. Murrow Best Podcast Award in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
In 2017, Valle won the TAB’s Best Series for her in-depth reports on opioid-dependent newborns. That same year, she led the Good Morning El Paso team to attain an award for Best Morning Newscast. Repeatedly, she has been named best anchor and best reporter in the El Paso Times, The City Magazine, and El Paso Inc.
Away from journalism, Valle is involved in the community including serving on the Make-A-Wish North Texas Regional Development Council. Further, she is on the advisory committee of the Plaza Classic Film Festival Program and on the board of Candlelighters, which benefits families of children with cancer.
