Steve Pickett is an American Emmy Award-winning reporter who is currently working at CBS 11. He joined the CBS 11 team on March 1996, and while working at the station, he was honored with the Dallas Press Club Award for coverage of Hurricane Katrina.

Steve was the first radio journalist to be deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 56th Texas National Guard Brigade. In early 2010 he traveled to Haiti with a group of Dallas doctors to report on the effects of the devastating earthquake.
